Beside this system, there is an existing photo-voltaic system which provides security lighting and basic lighting for the kitchen and toilets for night time use.

PKH Trang - Install Solar Ceiling Fans
During the end of August 2016, we started to install solar power for ceiling fans at PKH Trang. During the hot seasons, the classrooms gets very hot with the bright sun shining and all the sun energy is wasted. We installed a 1KW photo-voltaic system to power the ceiling fans for all the classrooms. The system only uses 2 batteries with minimum energy storage for night time use. It is meant for only day-time use.
The team started bringing the solar items from Kg Speu and the installation begins.
The installation is completed and the training centre now enjoy cool breeze in the classrooms because the ceiling fans are powered by the sun.
